⭐ Privacy Policy — Star Saviors

Star Saviors ("the App", "we", "us") is a free single-player platformer game developed by Komiljon Zokirov. This policy explains what personal data the App collects, how it is used, and how you can control it.

1. Data We Collect

1.1 Locally on your device

The App stores the following on your device using AES-256 encrypted local storage (Android Keystore-bound key):

• Game progress (levels cleared, stars earned, coins, achievements)
• Settings (language, music/SFX volume, vibration toggle)
• Selected hero + cosmetic unlocks
• Daily quest progress
• Recorded ghost replays

This data never leaves your device unless you choose to sign in (see §1.2).

1.2 With your consent — cloud sync

If you tap Sign in with Google or Sign in with Play Games, the App connects to Firebase (Google) and stores the same game progress data above in your private Firestore document, keyed by your Google account UID. This enables progress to follow you to other devices.

You can sign out at any time from Settings → Sign Out. After sign-out, the App returns to local-only mode.

1.3 Anonymous crash reports

Firebase Crashlytics receives an anonymized stack trace + device model + Android version when the App crashes. No personally identifying information (account, email, IP) is sent. You can disable crash reporting in Settings → Diagnostics.

2. What We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or address.
• We do not show advertisements.
• We do not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs beyond Firebase Analytics (anonymous events: levels played, sessions).
• We do not access your contacts, photos, microphone, camera, location, or files outside the App's own storage.

3. Permissions Used

ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE	Detect offline mode to skip sync attempts
VIBRATE	Haptic feedback for jumps, hits (toggleable in Settings)

No other permissions are requested.

4. Children's Privacy

Star Saviors is suitable for ages 6+ (PEGI 3 / ESRB E). We follow Google Play's Families policy:

• No advertising
• No location tracking
• No in-app purchases
• No social features (no chat, no public profile)

5. Your Rights

• Access / export: contact us to receive a copy of your Firestore document.
• Delete: Settings → Sign Out → Delete Account. This removes your Firestore document. Local data can be wiped by uninstalling the App.
• Withdraw consent: sign out at any time. The App fully works offline.

6. Data Retention

Firestore documents are kept indefinitely unless you delete them via the in-app option in §5. Anonymous crash reports are kept for 90 days by Firebase Crashlytics (Google policy).

7. Third-Party Services

• Google Firebase — Authentication, Firestore, Crashlytics, Analytics. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google Play Games Services — Sign-in + achievements sync. Subject to Google's Play Games policy.

8. Changes

If we update this policy, we'll bump "Last updated" at the top and (for material changes) show an in-app banner on the next launch.
